Frankfurt, the metropolis on the river Main, can be regarded as one of the most modern and most important cities in Germany, even in Europe. Fraport states that its strategy is environmentally sustainable and that it works to check and improve air pollution and noise prevention.
The latter is very important to the local residents living on one of the approach corridors of Frankfurt Airport.
